- When am I charged?
- When you choose a plan, then on the same date each month or year until you cancel. Your plan starts as soon as you've paid.
- Can I cancel?
- Yes, any time, from your account: your plan runs to the end of the period you've paid for and isn't renewed. In your first month, the first-month guarantee also lets you cancel with your first payment refunded in full.
- What's the first-month guarantee?
- If it isn't useful in your first month, tell us and we'll refund your first payment in full. It covers the first payment on every paid plan (monthly, yearly), whether you're buying for a business or for yourself. Ask within 30 days of that payment, through the support form or by email to hello@sortd-app.com. We refund it in full and the plan ends. Consumers also keep their separate 14-day cancellation right; see the terms.
- Is there a yearly price?
- Yes, on every paid plan: 12 months for the price of 10 (£290, £790 and £1,490 a year for Investor, Professional and Area Data). Investor's £290 works out at £24.17 a month, against £29 paid monthly. That's the standard price, not a launch offer.
- Is EPC B from 2031 the law?
- Not yet. In June 2026 the government said it intends to require EPC B from 2031 for privately rented non-domestic buildings over 1,000 m², where cost effective. It needs secondary legislation, and the 7-year payback test and exemptions remain. Buildings under 1,000 m² stay at the current E minimum.
- What's in the beta?
- The checker, watchlists and alerts, building reports, and for the plans that include them, the daily feed of new EPCs, area screens, portfolio upload and district data. New EPCs are added every morning; the full register, and the figures built from it, refresh each month.
- Do you sell building owners' contact details?
- No. We don't hold owners' contact details and we don't sell lead lists. Contractors get area totals.
- Is VAT included?
- Prices are shown before VAT. If VAT applies it's added at checkout and shown on your receipt.
