Privacy notice

SORTD AI LTD ("we", "us", "our"), a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17212371) with its registered office at Apartment 83, 70 York Road, Wandsworth, SW11 3QF, trading as Sortd, is the controller for personal data we collect through this website (sortd-app.com) and through our work with client agencies. This notice explains what we collect, why, and what your rights are under the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

What we collect

When you use the contact form, we collect your name, email address, agency name, role and the message you send us. Our hosting provider (Vercel) and our email delivery provider (Resend) automatically log technical data such as IP address, user agent and timestamps.

We do not use third-party advertising trackers and we do not sell or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

Why we collect it

• To respond to your enquiry and arrange a discovery call.
• To send you proposals, follow-ups and operational communications about a project you have asked us to scope.
• To meet our legal, regulatory and accounting obligations.
• To detect and prevent abuse of the website (for example, automated form submissions).

Our lawful bases are typically the performance of a contract or pre-contract steps you have requested, our legitimate interests in running and protecting the business, and compliance with legal obligations.

How long we keep it

Enquiry data is kept for up to 24 months after our last contact with you, unless you ask us to delete it sooner. Records relating to engagements with paying clients are kept for as long as we are required to under UK accounting and tax law.

Your rights

You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, correct it, ask us to delete it, restrict or object to processing, and receive a copy in a portable format. To exercise any of these rights, email us at chester@sortd-app.com. You can also lodge a complaint with the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

We use the following sub-processors to run this website and our services. All hold UK or EU data within the UK or EU.

• Vercel Inc. (website hosting)
• Resend, Inc. (transactional email delivery)
• Google LLC (Google Workspace, for our business email)

Cookies

This site does not set marketing cookies. Vercel may set strictly functional cookies (for example, to load-balance traffic). No consent banner is required for strictly functional cookies under PECR.
